Assessing corporate and academic exposure to risks is an essential first step. However, the next steps — outlined below — are critical to ensuring that a company or school is prepared to survive and recover from a crisis. These steps include training, documentation and a clear reporting and management structure. As an experienced strategist and operational leader, Jonathan has extensive experience with conducting training, creating effective documentation, and designing practical and sustainable reporting structures.
Jonathan has created and led training sessions for a range of corporations with a global presence. He has also responded to a wide range of actual crises, including kidnappings, hijackings, terrorist events (including 9/11) emergency evacuations from countries at war (Lebanon, Azerbaijan, Cote d’Ivoire and others), and natural disasters (including the Asian tsunami and the Japanese Fukushima Daiichi nuclear reactor disaster).
