Topic: I was engaged to conduct a crisis management tabletop exercise for the CEO and direct reports of a large manufacturing firm.  Specific company and exercise details are protected by a binding non-disclosure agreement but the general nature of the exercise focused on a cyberware attack with restricted access to systems and threatened exposure of Personally-Identifiable Information (PII).

Topics: I was engaged to speak on the changing role of the United States in recent years, as some leaders urge an “America First” approach and a withdrawal from our traditional post-WWII multilateralism.  Others argue for the continued multilateralism practiced by the US in close coordination with NATO.

I gave this presentation to approximately 120 people at UNCA Asheville on February 20.  I subsequently gave this same presentation at three other venues:  Brevard College, Blue Ridge Community College, and Isothermal College.

Topic: I was engaged to conduct a crisis management tabletop exercise for the CEO and direct reports of a large manufacturing firm.  Specific company and exercise details are protected by a binding non-disclosure agreement but the general nature of the exercise focused on an explosion at a manufacturing plant which resulted in loss of life and substantial property damage to the plant and surrounding locations.

Topic: I was invited to speak to a State Department regional meeting hosted by the University of South Florida, Sarasota. I provided an analysis of the military and security risks of a military conflict on the Korean peninsula, with a focus on recent North Korean advances in nuclear weaponry.

Topic: This presentation was based on my personal travels in North Korea. I provided insights to a standing-room-only audience (120+ attendees) at UNCA on life, travels, risks and rules in that reclusive country.  Because of the overflow crowd, I was asked to provide an encore presentation a few months later at a nearby venue.
